Curl E. Cue's Cake Smash Video Hop

Hello!

I know it's been a while, but I'm happy to be here today to celebrate Tara's 1st "birthday" on YouTube and reaching 5,000 subscribers!  I have a birthday card using Mint Owl Studio stamps and a brand new stencil that was released today.  Enjoy!

I used the Sprinkles Stencil with white embossing paste on the card base to create subtle texture.  I then added a layer of watercolor with Distress Inks.

I used the Sweet Treats set for the cupcake stand, cupcake, and sentiment.  I then added the coordinating scalloped borders with a Lawn Fawn die and some May Arts Natural Twine.

Father's Day Card with Distress Markers

Hello!

It's been awhile since I've created a video, actually a card altogether!  I was inspired last night to create something, so I thought I would put it into a video.  I also want to share that there is a sale going on at Mint Owl Studio right now, so make sure to pick up your favorite stamps, stencils, and sequins white they're on sale!

I started with the Mixed Triangle stencil and Walnut Stain Distress Ink to create the background.  I then stamped my images with VersaFine Ink and watercolored them in with Distress Markers.

I added in a Stitched Vellum circle and some May Arts Natural Twine around my sentiment strip.  I think this is the perfect Father's Day card!

Lawn Fawn Birthday Card

Hello!

I'm working with to older Lawn Fawn stamp sets and Distress Inks today.  I love to work with older products and show them some love too!  This is a fun birthday card with bright colors.

I inked the background with Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks.  I then stamped the images and "roar" letters and colored them in with Copics.  I matted the Distress Ink piece with a piece of patterned paper from the Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine 6x6 paper pad.  I tried to find it online, but I believe it is discontinued.

I added in some gold sequins and Wink of Stella glitter pen to the "roar."  Finally, I put a little Glossy Accents on the lion's nose.
