Happy Birthday // The Alley Way Stamps

Hello!

Today I have a card to share using a new TAWS set from this month!  The Star of the Show set is perfect for starry backgrounds and is fun to use embossing powder with!
I started by heat embossing the multi-star image with silver embossing powder on black card stock.  I then matted the black card stock with yellow Core card stock.  The owl is from the Birds of A Feather set and the banner/sentiment is from the Wish Big set.
I used the Core'dinations 110 lb. smooth white card stock to stamp the owl and banner images on.  I then colored them in with Copic markers.

Set of Mini Cards // Lawnscaping Challenge

Hello!

Today a new challenge starts over on the Lawnscaping Challenge blog!  Your challenge this week is to create a mini card or set of cards.  I used the Critters On The Farm set to create a set of four mini cards.  All of these cards measure 4 1/4" x 4 1/4."

I created the background using the new Tim Holtz Spritzer.  If you would like a how-to video on this technique, please let me know and I would gladly make one :)

I then used the lamb and bales of hay for this card.  I colored them in with Copic markers.

I used the barn and cow with some Lawn Trimmings Natural twine.

For my last card, I used some patterned paper from the Into The Woods 6x6 paper pad by Lawn Fawn and a Fiskar's border punch.

I can't wait to see your mini cards!  If you would like to purchase any of these supplies you can shop at Simon Says Stamp here!

This challenge is sponsored by Lawn Fawn!

Have a great day!

You Make Me Smile // The Alley Way Stamps

Hi there!

It's going to be a quick post because I have to go finish some homework for a project :(  There is still time to enter your card in the current Be-Inspired Challenge.  I used the polka dots and red and white color combo as my inspiration from the inspiration photo.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Medium Dot Stencil and the Tim Holtz Spritzer to create the background.  The two colors of Distress Ink Markers I used were Barn Door and Fired Brick.

I stamped the "flower" from the Flower Doodles set and then inked it with Barn Door, Ripe Persimmon, and Mustard Seed Distress Inks.  The sentiment is from the Speak Easy stamp set.

Bee Happy // The Alley Way Stamps

Hello!  Easter is in one week, so I thought I would give you a week of Easter inspiration.  Today, I am starting by sharing this Easter Bee card using two new stamp sets from The Alley Way Stamps.  It's so fun to use all of the images for different seasons!

The patterned papers are from Jillibean Soup and the hexagons are cut with a die from My Favorite Things.

I used crinkle ribbon from May Arts that I folded all across the front of the card.  I added a couple of buttons and sequins as embellishments.

All of the supplies are linked below to Simon Says Stamp.  I am an affiliate for them which means that I get a small percentage of each sale that shops through my link.  It helps with supporting this blog, so I can bring you tons of inspiration!  I really appreciate all of your support!
