Season's Greetings and some Paper Piecing!

Hello!

How about some Christmas card inspiration this morning?  It sure feels like winter here…I think it's like 12 degrees out right now!  I'm slowly realizing that I am not a cold weather person.  I don't mind the snow, but I hate being cold!  I freeze from November to March!
I love this tree stamp from Paper Smooches and it just called to be paper-pieced.  The patterned papers are from Jillibean Soup and I added some Stickles to the heart.  I colored in the stumps with a brown Copic marker and added to burlap behind for a fun texture.

By the way…Have your seen one of today's deal at Pick Your Plum?  Those gold straws?  I am in love!
Check them out by clicking on the Pick Your Plum box on my sidebar!

Thanks for stopping by and stay warm today :)

  2. Sorry to hear it is so cold...that is why I live in Florida. I can't handle January and February when the weather drops down to the 20s - 30s. Your card is absolutely precious. Love the trees!

    1. Thanks, Georgiana! It can get pretty cold in January, but thankfully that's when I'm on break from school, so I don't have to go outside too much ;) It actually drops to more like below 0 most of the time too!
