Lawnscaping Challenge // Try A New Technique

Good Morning!

A new Lawnscaping Challenge starts today and we're challenging you to try a new technique!  It was a little hard for me to think of a technique that I haven't tried before.  Not to say that "I've done it all,"  but there just wasn't anything that came to mind.  After a quick Google search, I decided to try reflective stamping.

I started with the Lawn Fawn Happy Trails stamp set to stamp the pine trees.  I stamped the right side up ones with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and the reflection trees with London Fog Memento Ink.  I stamped the grass from the Critters In The Savanna Set with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and then sponged Forest Moss Distress Ink on top of it.
The water was created with Broken China, Salty Ocean, and Faded Jeans Distress Inks.  The sunset was created with Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and Barn Door Distress Inks.  I colored in the upright trees with a YG63 and a YG67 Copic marker.  The reflection trees were colored in with a C1 and a YG61 Copic marker.

I added two clouds from the Memory Box Puffy Clouds die and some Clear Rock Candy Stickles to the water to create "waves."  The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped with the Harold's ABCs stamp set.
