The Alley Way Stamps Stomper Sneak Peek!

It's time for a sneak peek at the new Stomper set from The Alley Way Stamps that releases on September 1st!  I am so excited about these sets and I think you are going to love them as well!  Alrighty...on to the card!

Adorable, right?  I stamped the dinosaur from the Stomper set on Core'dinations 110 lb. card stock, colored it in with Copics, and fussy cut it out.  If you don't like fussy cutting, did you know that there are cut files in the TAWS shop to match each stamp set?  They are super affordable and you don't have to find a place in your craft room to store them!

To created the background, I started with a piece of Tim Holtz water color card stock.  I then inked the top part with Tumbles Glass Distress ink.  To create the polka dots, I used the Simon Says Stamp Medium Dot stencil and some more Tumbles Glass Distress ink for a subtle effect.  For the bottom half, I inked it up with Walnut Distress ink, added mounds of Embossing Paste "dirt," and then colored them with the Walnut Stain Distress ink.  The twine is from Lawn Fawn.

I just love how his expression goes so well with the sentiment.  Speaking of sentiment...that is an extra sneak peek to the freebie for this month, Rock Solid.
